What does Helix need?
A Mac with Apple silicon running macOS 27 or later.
What is free and what is Pro?
Free: the CPU and memory readings in the menu bar, and the Overview, CPU, Memory, Storage, Network and Battery pages.
Pro, a one-time purchase with a 14-day free trial: every menu bar reading and style, the Insights, Displays & GPU, Neural Engine, Thermals and Devices pages, widgets and the live desktop panel.
How do I start the trial or buy Pro?
Open a Pro page in Helix. The upgrade screen there offers the free trial and the one-time purchase.
How do I restore Pro on another Mac?
Sign in with the same Apple ID, open a Pro page and choose Restore Purchases on the upgrade screen.
Why does Helix ask for my location?
Only so macOS will reveal the name of your Wi-Fi network on the Network page. Helix does not use or store your location, and if you decline, only the network name is missing. The privacy policy has the details.
Does Helix send my readings anywhere?
No. Helix has no account and no analytics, and it does not connect to the internet. Everything it measures stays on your Mac. Read the privacy policy.
