A system monitor for your Mac.
Your Mac's vital signs, one glance away in the menu bar, with a dashboard, widgets and a live desktop panel when you want more. Everything is measured on the Mac itself.
From a glance to the whole picture.
- 01
In the menu bar
CPU and memory are always there, free. Pro adds GPU, battery, network and storage, as icons, values or level bars.
- 02
In the dashboard
One window for the whole Mac: Overview, CPU, Memory, Battery, Storage and Network, and with Pro the displays, the Neural Engine, thermals and connected devices.
- 03
On your desktop
With Pro, widgets for the desktop and Notification Center, and a live panel that updates with every reading.
Pro
A week of readings, in plain words.
Insights reads the last seven days and writes up what it finds: a health score and the reasons behind it, trends, forecasts, and anomalies worth a look.
The summary is written on your Mac by Apple Intelligence, using Apple's on-device model, so your readings go nowhere. Without Apple Intelligence, Helix writes it itself.
Free, with Pro.
Helix is free to use. Pro is a one-time purchase with a 14-day free trial that adds the rest. It is not a subscription.

No account, no analytics
Helix has no sign-in, and no analytics, ads or tracking.
- 02
It stays on your Mac
What Helix measures is shown to you and kept for seven days in the app's own storage. Helix does not connect to the internet.
- 03
One permission, only if you choose
To show your Wi-Fi network's name, macOS asks whether Helix may use Location. Helix never uses or stores it, and if you decline, only the name is missing.
